Screenwriter Needed for Two Short AI-Driven Game Cinematics

ABOUT THE PROJECT Wit’s End is a voice‑first smart‑TV RPG that mixes epic high‑fantasy stakes with fish‑out‑of‑water party comedy (think Jumanji 2017 meets Dungeons & Dragons). We need two short cinematic scripts (opening and closing cut‑scenes) for Quest 1. Each will run roughly 45‑90 seconds and will feed directly into our AI‑assisted production pipeline. DELIVERABLES 1. Opening Cinematic Script – Flashback “The Red River Runs Scarlet” leading to the heroes’ arrival at Timberfall. Length about 1‑2 pages. 2. Closing Cinematic Script – After the altar confrontation, ends on a cliff‑hanger that sets up Quest 2. Length about 1‑2 pages. 3. One revision pass for both scripts after consolidated team feedback. TONE AND STYLE World and NPCs are serious, mythic fantasy. Player heroes provide the comedy with modern banter and occasional slapstick. Balance earnest stakes with laugh‑out‑loud moments without derailing the plot. RESPONSIBILITIES * Read the Quest 1 outline and world‑building notes we provide. * Draft both scripts in standard screenplay format (scene headings, action, dialogue, minimal SFX notes). * Include brief sound or pacing cues only where essential. * Incorporate a single revision round. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * Demonstrated film or game screenplay credits. * Ability to write both fantasy and comedy. * Strong, distinct character dialogue. * Native‑level U.S. English. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with game cut‑scenes * Familiarity with tabletop RPG tropes BUDGET AND CONTRACT Hourly contract at 60 to 75 USD per hour with a 20‑hour cap.
