Videographer Needed for SaaS Brand Launch Video (Columbus, OH | May 22)
We’re a creative agency that produces launch videos for SaaS brands, and we’re looking for a skilled videographer based in or near Columbus, Ohio for an upcoming shoot on Thursday, May 22. Project Overview: We’re filming a scripted talking head with the founder of a SaaS company, to be used as the centerpiece of a product launch video. Here’s a reference for the type of look and feel we’re aiming for: https://youtu.be/FeBMpXao-9U?si=0o5D6RcaxhSm3x8_ Your responsibilities will include: - Filming the talking head portion on-site at the client’s office - Providing appropriate lighting setup to create a clean, soft, professional look (blurry depth-of-field background is important) -Capturing clear, professional-grade audio via lav or boom mic (mic must be hidden/off-camera) -Ensuring footage is recorded in 4K resolution -Delivering raw footage only (we’ll handle the editing) Estimated Time: - The shoot is expected to last approximately 4 hours, but we’d like you to be available for extra time if needed. Ideal Candidate: - Based in or willing to travel to Columbus, Ohio - Has experience filming corporate talking head content - Brings or coordinates any additional crew if necessary for best results (e.g. assistant, audio tech) - Comfortable matching a polished, soft-lit aesthetic as seen in the reference - Brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset on set Equipment Requirements: - 4K-capable camera setup - Professional lighting kit suitable for indoor interviews - Lav or boom microphone setup (non-visible placement) We’re finalizing the full scope of the video, but for now the main requirement is the talking head footage — potential b-roll or expanded footage may be added on the day of, so flexibility is a plus.
