IT Asset Management in SharePoint
We're an MSP supporting a US-based shipbuilding company to comply with CMMC requirements. They've been custom-building an IT asset management system that hasn't worked out. I believe SharePoint is a better way to go and we're looking for that expertise. We're thinking about SharePoint Lists, MS Forms, and a bit of workflow. MS Power Apps could be an alternative if Forms doesn't get the job done. I've got a technical architecture background and helped define the business requirements, including a schema and the intended functionality. We can collaborate to clarify everything and then have you execute. We'll want you to verify if the approach I've asserted will work, define the target architecture, give us an idea how long it'll take, and then get going.
