We are seeking an experienced data integration consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Yardi Data Connect. The consultant will support the architecture, development, and implementation of a scalable data pipeline and reporting solution tailored for a real estate and property management business. About Us: Al Rafay Consulting is a Microsoft-certified solutions provider specializing in real estate data automation, business intelligence, and AI-driven insights. We are working with some of the top names in the industry to modernize their data stack and integrate property management platforms like Yardi. Project Scope & Objectives: Integrate Yardi Voyager or Yardi Breeze Premier data with Microsoft Azure services using Yardi Data Connect (YDC). Design and implement Azure Data Factory pipelines to extract, transform, and load Yardi data into a centralized data warehouse (Azure SQL/Data Lake). Develop dynamic, role-based Power BI dashboards and reports for operations, leasing, finance, and asset management stakeholders. Ensure proper data governance, security, and scalability. Provide consultation on Yardi SIPP specifications and help align integration with best practices. Troubleshoot API connections and data syncing issues, and support UAT for data validation and reporting accuracy. Required Skills & Experience: Proven hands-on experience with: - Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure AD) - Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Power BI (DAX, data modeling, role-based access) - Yardi Data Connect (YDC) and familiarity with Yardi's web services & APIs Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT practices and data pipeline design Experience working with real estate data, lease abstraction, unit-level metrics, financials, and property operations Ability to interpret Yardi database schema or SIPP documentation Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders Deliverables: Fully functional and tested Azure Data Factory pipelines connected to Yardi Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs with drill-down capabilities Technical documentation for data integration workflows Recommendations for performance optimization and long-term scalability Support for knowledge transfer and handover to internal IT/BI teams Engagement Details: Project Duration: 1 month Location: Remote (must be available during US business hours) Commitment: Part-time to full-time, based on availability and deliverables To Apply: Please include: - A brief overview of your experience with Yardi and Microsoft Azure - Sample Power BI dashboards or integration architecture (if available) - References or Upwork history with similar projects (if applicable)
