URGENT: Part-time Project Manager needed for web/mobile app projects
Summary We are seeking a dynamic part-time Project Manager to oversee the execution of software projects, focusing on SaaS, web, and mobile applications for our diverse client base. This role involves engaging with clients, guiding internal development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of custom web and mobile solutions. Primary Responsibilities: ==================== Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand and document requirements for custom web and mobile projects. Possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant business processes and workflows. Project Leadership: Assist internal web and mobile development teams by providing leadership, direction, and review of all activities associated with project delivery. Take responsibility for product quality, project timeliness, and overall customer satisfaction. Expertise in Business Processes: Serve as a functional and business process expert, ensuring that both business and end-user needs are understood and reflected in every solution. Strive for world-class quality in project delivery. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with the Internet technical Project Manager and Team Leader to create and present effective project onboarding processes and materials, such as SOW/High-level Requirements. Design Thinking: Actively lead and participate in Design Thinking sessions to gain insights into end-user and customer needs. Documentation: Create and assist in the development of comprehensive documentation, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Feature Descriptions, Process Flows, Analysis Models, Personas, Journey Maps, Wireframes, and User Guides. Product Backlog Management: Co-manage the Product Backlog for a Product, working with the Lead BSA and Engagement Manager to prioritize requirements, define and manage scope, and plan sprints. Engagement with Stakeholders: Engage business owners and other ITS resources to respond to requests for new applications and enhancements. Problem Resolution: Proactively respond to both business and project issues, escalating appropriately. Provide operational support to clients and collaborate with various teams to resolve problems as they arise. Primary Qualifications: ================= Experience: 5+ years supporting multiple software projects in various IT roles, with 3+ years of Business Analyst or System Analysis experience and 3+ years of Project Management experience. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience providing Analyst support for web and/or mobile development projects, preferably in Node, Angular, iOS, and Android platforms. In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles, including agile development and testing. Testing Experience: Experience with test plan creation, automated test scripting, and load/stress testing. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, planning, and leadership skills. Strong management, communication, technical, and remote collaboration skills are a must. Adaptability: Ability to adapt and learn quickly, execute seamlessly, and remain detail-oriented while understanding the big picture. Agile Methodology: Well-versed with Agile Methodology and capable of conducting technical discussions directly with Project/Product management and clients. Team Collaboration: Strong team collaboration skills, relationship-building, and maintaining skills. Foster a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external). Problem Solving: Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating impact analysis, gap analysis, and effective problem troubleshooting skills. Self-Motivated: Self-motivated with the ability to negotiate and manage expectations across the board.
