We are OnQuote Insurance, an independent, family-owned insurance agency based in Lake Zurich, IL, serving clients in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Arizona. We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Google Ads campaign manager to help us drive qualified insurance leads for personal and commercial insurance lines. We offer a wide variety of insurance products, including auto, home, renters, business, life, and more. Our goal is to increase high-quality inbound leads via well-targeted Google Ads campaigns. This is a freelance role with the potential for ongoing collaboration. Scope of Work: Audit or set up our Google Ads account Perform keyword and competitor research specific to the insurance industry Create and manage Google Search campaigns (Display and Performance Max optional) Write compelling ad copy and test variations Set up conversion tracking (via Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.) Monitor, report, and optimize campaigns regularly Provide transparent weekly or biweekly reports on campaign performance Ideal Candidate Has: Google Ads Certification (preferred) Proven success with Google Ads lead generation in insurance or other professional services Deep understanding of CPC, CTR, ROAS, Quality Score, and bidding strategies Familiarity with location-based targeting and demographic optimization Experience integrating conversion tracking using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Tag Manager Clear, responsive communication style in English Nice to Have: Experience with local service ads or lead gen landing pages Knowledge of insurance industry compliance in advertising (preferred but not required) Familiarity with platforms like Unbounce, Instapage, or similar for A/B testing Suggestions on budget allocation for multiple lines of business Deliverables: Initial strategy document with keyword and campaign structure plan Fully built and launched campaign(s) Weekly or biweekly performance updates (via shared dashboard or brief PDF) Ongoing campaign refinements based on data insights To Apply, Please Include: A brief introduction and years of Google Ads experience Case studies or examples of campaigns you’ve managed in similar industries Your optimization approach and communication style Your availability (timezone and working hours) Your preferred pricing model (hourly or fixed rate) Budget: We are open to both hourly and fixed-price proposals.
