Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator – Help Build Student Leadership Across U.S. Campuses

Description: We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented recruiter to help us find and onboard high-potential student interns who will lead new chapters of the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA)—an accredited career development organization that reaches over 100,000 students across 850+ college campuses. You’ll be responsible for managing the full intern candidate pipeline: sourcing, screening, making offers, and onboarding selected interns before transitioning them to an intern manager. You’ll work inside a custom HubSpot CRM that organizes candidates through application, screening, offer, onboarding, and transition phases. This is a fast-moving, high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in a recruitment environment that feels more like sales: fast response, fast decision-making, and meaningful results. We’re looking for someone who sees opportunity, not obstacles—and who wants their work to make a national impact. Your Responsibilities: - Proactively reach out to student candidates within 24 hours of application - Source candidates through Handshake and targeted school lists (provided) - Conduct short video interviews and evaluate candidates using provided criteria - Make timely internship offers and guide accepted candidates through onboarding - Manage all candidate records and actions using our custom HubSpot CRM - Tag, track, and move candidates through each pipeline stage with accuracy - Prepare each accepted intern for handoff to their Intern Manager - Collaborate with leadership to improve the onboarding process as needed What We’re Looking For: - Experience in recruiting, admissions, HR, or internship placement preferred - Strong communicator with a people-first mindset - Sales or customer success background a plus—speed, responsiveness, and confidence matter - Organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a CRM (especially HubSpot) - Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment Why This Role Matters: Imagine recruiting student leaders who go on to launch real, lasting chapters that empower others at their colleges.
