Full-Stack Developer Needed to Build AI-Powered Metal Roofing Estimation Tool (Web or Mobile).
I'm looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build an MVP of a metal roofing calculator with AI-assisted features for dimension and material estimation. This will be the first version of a larger software platform aimed at simplifying roof panel layout, cutting optimization, and pricing for metal fabrication and roofing contractors. You will be working directly with the project owner (me), who has domain expertise in the metal roofing and purchasing industry. - Proven experience in full-stack development (Python, JavaScript, React or Vue). - Experience with AI/computer vision (OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow) a big plus. - Experience working with construction, estimating, or geometry-heavy tools is a bonus. - Good communication and ability to collaborate on design iterations. - Comfortable working in sprints or milestones This project has significant business potential, and if the collaboration goes well, there's long-term opportunity for feature upgrades, AI integration, and mobile expansion.
