Ongoing freelance designer need for brand books

About Woden The brands who tell—and live—the best stories will win their market. How brands connect with people has been upended by technology. AI, social media, short-form video, email, messaging apps—they all feel new and different. But the way people use them isn’t: We’re experiencing a digitally-fueled reimagination of the oral (storytelling) tradition. In this digitoral era, the brands who will win are those defined by a story that converts their prospects to customers and customers into evangelists. Woden creates strategic narratives for essential brands and ensures that story is told clearly, consistently, and compellingly. We’re building the first agency of our kind. And we’re looking for curious, deliberate, and insightful people to join us. The Role We’re looking for a part-time freelance designer to regularly design, lay out, and paginate our client’s brand books (StoryGuide). In addition to the layout and pagination of the StoryGuide, of which where can be up to one per week, other design project needs may arise, such as branded sales and marketing collateral and presentation decks. The need to consistently stay on scope and timeline, as well as following brand guidelines is important, as is proactive communication (via Slack and Google Meet). Experience in publishing and print design is required. B2B experience is preferred. What You’ll Do • Design, layout, and paginate copy and images, and paginate 120-page templated brand books using InDesign • Upload and save all design files using Google Drive • Communicate with project teams/Director of Storytelling via Slack and Google Meet • Turn around edits and final designs within agreed upon deadlines • Design sales, marketing, decks, and branded collateral as needed
