About Me: I’m a creative entrepreneur based in Los Angeles — I run a boutique record label, manage artists, receive royalties and consulting income, and also operate an Airbnb. My income is solid, but it’s irregular and spread across multiple sources (royalties, Airbnb, freelance, etc.). I’m looking for someone to help me build a clear, dynamic monthly budget, manage cash flow, and advise on personal + business finance decisions. What I Need Help With: • Creating and maintaining a monthly cash flow dashboard • Organizing income sources (label royalties, Airbnb, consulting) • Setting a clear budget structure (including credit card debt and spending buckets) • Helping me maximize SEP IRA contributions and tax strategy • Forecasting income over 3–6 month periods • Integrating tools (e.g. QuickBooks, YNAB, Google Sheets — open to what works) • Advising on when/how to make strategic financial decisions (cut costs, increase savings, reinvest, etc.) What I’m Looking For: • Experience working with music industry, creators, or other irregular-income professionals • Fluent in self-employed tax strategy (LLCs, SEP IRAs, estimated taxes) • Smart, responsive, strategic — not just a spreadsheet jockey • Comfortable working 5–10 hours/month, with occasional calls and updates Bonus if you: • Have worked with artists or entertainment professionals • Know the ins and outs of royalty structures and delayed income • Can help bridge the gap between my accountant/bookkeeper and day-to-day decisions
