Financial Modeler with CPG Experience
We are a strategic finance firm working with investor-backed companies in the consumer and SaaS space. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Modeler with deep expertise in CPG specifically DTC and retail channels as well as experience supporting successful fundraises. This role requires someone who not only understands the metrics investors look for but can also build models that are user-friendly, intuitive, and articulate the business model effectively. Key Responsibilities: * Construct detailed and scalable financial models for CPG, DTC, and retail companies * Support fundraising efforts by building models that clearly communicate growth strategies, unit economics, and key financial metrics * Develop user-friendly models that are easy to navigate and visually represent the business’s financial story * Identify and highlight key metrics that drive investor interest and confidence * Collaborate with stakeholders who may not be finance-savvy to ensure clear understanding and alignment * Provide quick turnarounds with strong responsiveness, setting clear expectations for deliverables and timelines Requirements: *Proven experience building financial models for CPG, DTC, and retail sectors *Direct involvement in fundraising processes and an understanding of investor expectations *Advanced Excel skills with a focus on usability and clarity *Strong communication skills to work effectively with non-financial stakeholders *Highly responsive and proactive, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and urgent requests Preferred Qualifications: *Experience with SKU-level modeling and cohort analysis *Familiarity with margin analysis, supply chain cost structures, and retail pricing strategies *Prior work with VC or PE-backed companies is a strong plus If you are an efficient modeler who thrives under urgency and can translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights, we want to hear from you.
