I’m looking for a U.S.-based attorney to review and refine a short (2-page) lease/consignment agreement for a specialized piece of film equipment — a gyro-stabilized camera crane. The contract involves: Equipment leased out to a third party (storage + occasional sub-rental) Insurance liability (production insurance vs property storage insurance) Long-term relationship already in place (handshake basis until now) Ideal expertise includes: Contract law (especially around leases or consignment) Insurance nuances (liability vs damage, claims filing rights) Familiarity with film/TV production or equipment rental a plus Main goal is to make sure the contract is fair, legally sound, and won’t spook a long-standing industry partner with overly aggressive liability language — especially around insurance requirements.
