What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
I’m looking for an experienced and reliable tax professional to help me get organized and handle my tax filings. This includes: Personal taxes Two residential properties (real estate-related reporting) A small LLC (officially registered) A small 501(c)(3) nonprofit (officially registered) I don’t use any specific software — I usually hire someone to prepare and file for me. There’s also some bookkeeping cleanup needed (nothing crazy, just disorganized), so being comfortable helping pull things together would be a big plus. What I’m looking for: Solid experience with U.S. personal, small business (Schedule C/LLC), real estate, and nonprofit (Form 990) taxes Ability to help strategize for future planning — deductions, tax savings, etc. — not just filing paperwork Someone who can eventually become a go-to resource for ongoing tax needs Ability to communicate clearly and guide me through the process without overwhelming jargon Professional, dependable, easy to work with Other notes: There may be some prior-year tax filings to clean up — we can discuss that when we talk. This is small potatoes overall — nothing super complex — but I do need someone who knows what they're doing and can help me get everything properly filed, clean, and set up for the future.
