E-commerce Developer to Help Customize UltraCart StoreFronts (Header, Footer, Email Setup, Chatbot)
We run a small e-commerce business using UltraCart’s StoreFronts platform and are looking for a developer to help us get oriented and make some key foundational edits. UltraCart experience is a plus—but we understand it’s a niche platform. What we’re really looking for is someone with strong front-end development skills and experience working within custom e-commerce systems (especially platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce) who can quickly get up to speed. Tasks include: • Editing our site’s header and footer within the StoreFront theme files (Velocity templates / HTML) • Helping us understand where to edit site-wide layout and navigation • Setting up or guiding us through email responders (e.g., for orders, signups, abandoned carts) • Installing a chatbot (like Tidio, Tawk.to, or similar) into the site layout • Walking us through of the StoreFront content tools and files so we can confidently make basic edits going forward Ideal Skills: • Strong HTML, CSS, and template logic experience • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms • Experience editing layout files, menus, transactional emails, and embedding 3rd-party scripts (like chatbots) • Ability to quickly pick up and navigate proprietary systems like UltraCart Bonus: Any familiarity with UltraCart StoreFronts or Velocity templating What We Need: Short-term assistance and consultation (3-5 hours) to get us started Definite potential for follow-up help later
