Location: ONLINE - Based in Chicago, IL Conference: 2025 ASCO® Annual Meeting Duration: May 30 - June 3, 2025 We are seeking a talented and motivated Medical Writer to join our team for an exciting opportunity to attend the 2025 ASCO® Annual Meeting ONLINE. As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for attending virtual presentations throughout the conference and producing 15 high-quality 600+ word articles based on the information presented. Responsibilities: - Attend sessions, workshops and presentations throughout the conference - Take comprehensive notes and gather key insights from presentations. - Produce 15 concise and accurate 600+ word articles based on the content of the presentations. - Ensure articles are thoroughly researched, well-written, and adhere to established guidelines and deadlines. - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of content. Article Submission Schedule: - First 2 articles due on the third day of the conference on June 1, 2025. - Next 3 articles due on June 9, 2025 - Next 5 articles due on June 16, 2025 - Last 5 articles due on June 23, 2025 Content Focus Areas: You are encouraged to cover a broad range of sessions across the conference. While all clinical and scientific topics are relevant, special attention can be given—when applicable—to areas that overlap with hormone-related conditions, such as: - Adrenal and cortisol-related disorders - Metabolic health (e.g., diabetes, insulin resistance) - Chronic fatigue or stress-related syndromes - Women’s hormonal health (e.g., PCOS, menopause, HPA axis issues) - Complex diagnostic pathways in endocrine-related cases Coverage of these topics is a bonus, but not required. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medicine, Life Sciences, Journalism, Communications). - Proven experience as a Medical Writer or similar role, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts. - Familiarity with medical research methodologies and publication practices. - Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while meeting tight deadlines. Preferred (but not required) qualifications:: - Has an advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD) or equivalent experience in a medical or scientific discipline. - Experience covering medical conferences or events.
