Automated Opt-Out Script Developer for People Finder Websites
We're looking for a skilled developer to build a backend script that automates the opt-out process for personal information on specific people finder websites. This is part of a privacy service we're building to protect users from having their personal information publicly accessible. Project Scope: 1. Automated Opt-Out Script: - Code a script (Python preferred, but open to alternatives) that: - Accepts a user’s inputted personal information - Searches for them on a list of specific people finder websites (e.g. TruePeopleSearch, etc.). - Goes through the websites' opt-out/removal processes automatically. - Handles captchas, email verification steps, and required form submissions. 2. Verification and Monitoring: - Verify that the profile was successfully removed (via follow-up scraping or checking confirmation responses). - Re-scan monthly to ensure the data hasn’t reappeared and trigger a re-removal if it does. 3. Integration with Bubble App (via API): - Connect the script to our existing Bubble.io web app using REST APIs. - Create endpoints to: - Trigger a new opt-out job. - Return opt-out status for a user. - Provide logs or updates for the dashboard. Requirements: Experience with web scraping and anti-bot measures (captcha solving, rotating proxies, headless browsers, etc.). API development and integration (especially with no-code tools like Bubble). Strong backend development skills (Python preferred). Ability to write clean, secure, and maintainable code. Bonus: Previous work on privacy tools, OSINT projects, or Bubble integrations. To Apply: Please include: A short summary of your relevant experience.
