Remodeling Consultant Seeking Ongoing Drafter/Designer Residential Projects- Bathrooms to Additions
I’m a remodeling consultant working for a family-owned company that’s been in business for over 90 years. I personally sell approximately $2 million per year in residential remodeling projects ranging from simple bathroom updates to full second-story additions. While I’m not an architect or construction professional, I guide clients through the design and sales process with a strong focus on trust, communication, and results. I’m looking for a reliable, responsive draftsman or designer who can translate field sketches and simple scopes into clean, professional drawings and renderings—and who can also offer practical insight into any details that require attention or advance planning. This is not a one-off job—I’m seeking a long-term working relationship with someone I can depend on for consistent turnaround times and clear communication. Scope of work includes: Creating floor plans for bathrooms, kitchens, basements, garages, and additions Occasional 3D renderings (if available) Turning hand-drawn sketches, photos, or brief notes into usable design documents Offering layout or construction-related advice when needed Delivering files in PDF (and preferably DWG or SketchUp formats) Typical turnaround: 2–4 business days per project Strong background in residential design/drafting Comfortable working with a non-technical client Fluent in English with clear communication U.S.-based or highly familiar with U.S. residential building layouts and standards Open to tiered pricing based on project complexity Available for phone or Zoom calls on more complex projects when needed
