I'm a general contractor and project manager currently developing a Salon Suite project in Evans, Georgia. I’m in the due diligence phase, with boundary and topographic work being completed this week. I’m looking to bring on a licensed civil engineer (Georgia required; South Carolina license is a plus for future work). This is a two-phase project, and I’m looking for someone I can build a working relationship with. Phase 1 – Site Planning & GDOT Coordination Review topo and boundary data (to be delivered this week) Evaluate if my building concept fits the property within all county setbacks and land use requirements Provide a conceptual site layout including building footprint, parking, greenspace, etc. Advise on GDOT requirements for deceleration lane and coordinate initial steps if one is needed Must be able to prepare and stamp plans for official submittals to the county and state Phase 2 – Full Building & MEP Design Collaborate on interior layout plans based on my salon suite concept Work alongside architect/designer to finalize building shell Complete or coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design to prepare full construction documents for permit, bid, and takeoff Provide stamped plans ready for permit submission Ideal Candidate: Licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia (SC license is a plus) Able to stamp and seal all plans for submission Experience with commercial development (retail, medical, salon suites, etc.) Familiar with GDOT processes for driveways and decel lanes Available to begin Phase 1 immediately and continue through full project development To Apply: If you're interested, please send over any relevant past project work — particularly projects involving GDOT coordination, commercial site layout, or developments in Georgia or South Carolina.
