Backend Engineer Needed: Scraper + API Integration Help for Early-Stage App
I’m building an early-stage app focused on product data and trends. A few components are already set up (scrapers, APIs, etc.), but they aren’t fully connected or production-ready yet. I’m looking for a backend engineer who can help tie everything together, improve functionality, and prepare the backend to reliably support the front-end UI. What I Need Help With: Implementing and refining scrapers (Apify, SERPAPI, etc.), and Integrating APIs for product and trend data. Structuring data pipelines and endpoints to feed clean data to the frontend Debugging and polishing what's already been started Helping get the backend to a stable, launch-ready state You’d Be a Great Fit If You: Have experience with Node.js, Python, or similar backend stacks Know how to work with 3rd-party APIs and scraping platforms Can jump into partially built projects and bring order to the chaos Are detail-oriented, proactive, and used to fast-moving environments Are willing to sign a simple NDA This is a freelance/project-based role with potential for ongoing work.
