Connecting Shopify with Lulu POD + Affiliate Tracking
I am launching a promotional campaign for a new (physical) book and online course called Boomer Sells The Business. A big percentage of our sales will come through Affiliate Marketing. We want to provide our affiliates with a book purchasing link they can share with their networks. We will then market the online course to those buyers and share affiliate commissions as appropriate. The problem is connecting the production, sale, and shipment of a physical product into a digital marketing and affiliate program. The book printing platform we are using is called Lulu.com. They have a direct integration with Shopify but I don't know if it will support our affiliate marketing goals. Lulu also has an API and connects with Zapier. We currently plan to use Systeme.io for our digital marketing, email, and affiliate programs. This platform also has an API and Zapier connection. Our current plan is to gather sales in Systeme.io, bulk export the sales data to an Excel spreadsheet, and then upload that data to Lulu for fulfillment. Lulu has this functionality. But we would prefer a more hands-off fulfillment process where each order is handed off (possibly from Shopify) to Lulu automatically, without our ongoing intervention. Again, this integration already exists (between Shopify and Lulu) but I don't know if it will support our affiliate marketing plans. I need an hour of your time to answer any questions you have about our objectives and for you to tell me whether Shopify is the right tool for this requirement.
