Trademark Filing Specialist (USPTO Experience Required)
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Trademark Filing Specialist with proven experience using the USPTO.gov platform to help secure a trademark for our brand. This is a freelance/project-based role ideal for someone who has successfully filed and registered U.S. trademarks, understands classification, and can navigate the entire process from name clearance to final submission. Responsibilities: Conduct a preliminary trademark search for name availability and conflicts Identify correct goods/services classification(s) Prepare and file the trademark application through the USPTO portal (TEAS Plus or TEAS Standard) Respond to office actions or clarifications if needed Provide consultation on how to protect brand assets through trademarks Ensure all filing steps are completed accurately and timely
