We are a fast-growing B2B brand serving the Private Equity (PE) and Finance industry, and we are looking for an experienced branding consultant to review and provide feedback on our proposed refreshed brand guidelines. These guidelines are currently ~90% complete, but we want expert input to ensure alignment with industry expectations and best practices. What We Need: We are seeking a consultant to refine and elevate the quality of our refreshed brand guidelines. This includes providing strategic recommendations on how we can better communicate authority, sophistication, and consistency to key stakeholders in the PE and Finance industries. Key Competencies We’re Looking For: Proven Expertise in Brand Identity: Extensive experience with brand identity development and refinement for high-caliber B2B brands. Industry Expertise: Familiarity with the private equity, finance, or professional services industries is highly preferred. Strategic Approach: Ability to provide actionable feedback, balancing creative vision with the professionalism and trustworthiness required for our industry. Attention to Detail: Skilled in reviewing brand components such as visual identity (logo usage, typography, color palette), brand messaging, tone, and overall cohesiveness. Scope of Work: Review our proposed refreshed brand guidelines (~designs, voice, and tone are mostly finalized). Provide specific recommendations to ensure optimal alignment with our positioning in the PE/Finance sector. Offer feedback on any gaps and opportunities to strengthen our brand’s visual and verbal identity. Deliver actionable advice to help us confidently finalize the guidelines for consistent implementation across all touchpoints. Success Criteria: The refreshed brand guidelines are polished, clear, and aligned with the sophistication expected in PE/Finance industries. Our brand identity is cohesive, professional, and resonates with our target audience. Feedback takes into consideration both strategic market fit and practical implementation. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: A professional branding consultant with a portfolio that demonstrates work for top-tier B2B brands or clients, particularly in industries demanding high professionalism. Industry Knowledge: Direct experience working with finance, private equity, or professional services brands is a strong plus.
