We are looking for a talented 2D animator to create a series of clean, modern, and engaging animations for an explainer video focused on the future of nuclear energy and modular reactor deployment. The script is fully written and includes detailed animation cues for each section. The visual style should be minimalist, clear, and tech-forward. Similar to modern explainer videos seen on Cleo Abrams of Vertasiums channel. Scope of Work: -Animate key moments from a provided script (~3-6 minutes of total animation) -Develop simple but visually engaging 2D graphics (diagrams, timelines, charts, reactor illustrations, etc.) -Integrate labeled visual metaphors (e.g., smooth vs. stuttering supply chains, modular construction, timelines) Visualize concepts like: -Factory-produced nuclear pods -Comparison of different reactor types -Redundancy and uptime in reactor fleets -Supply chain reliability of UO₂ vs. HALEU/TRISO -Project overruns (e.g., Vogtle example) -Market opportunity growth and global impact Deliverables: -1 complete animation aligned with voiceover (we can provide VO or you can work with text placeholders) -Source project files (After Effects, Illustrator, etc.) -All graphics must be original or royalty-free -Clean export in HD/4K for web and presentation use Requirements: -Strong portfolio in 2D explainer/technical animation -Ability to follow a script closely and enhance with visual storytelling -Experience creating clear, schematic-style visuals -Excellent communication and project organization -Turnaround time: ~2–4 weeks Bonus: -Familiarity with clean energy or industrial tech topics -Willingness to collaborate on iterations as needed
