Outreach Specialist – Indie Film & Content Licensing (Lead Gen + Qualification)
Description: Evolve Meta Tech is creating a new platform enabling fans to legally remix licensed film studio content into viral short form video (highlights/reels/shorts). Prior to launching open beta, we’re hiring an experienced outreach freelancer to identify and qualify independent filmmakers for content licensing partnerships. Your Role: You’ll be responsible for sourcing and qualifying leads — indie directors, producers, or rights holders with underused long form assets (e.g., archival footage, features, cut scenes). Your job is to identify targets, engage them using provided assets, and qualify their eligibility and interest for the EMT team. We Provide: - Messaging templates and one-sheet materials - Onboarding and product context You Provide: - Lead generation and outreach to qualified prospects - Experience reaching indie filmmakers and content rights holders - Strong written communication and persistence in follow-ups - Clear tracking of contact outcomes and next steps Preference if you have: - Personal network in film & production industries - Experience with content licensing, distribution, and creator platforms - Familiarity with IP rights, licensing, or digital UGC Scope: Start with 5-10 hours/week; potential to expand based on quality of leads and conversions.
