Licensed MEP Engineer Needed for Restaurant Tenant Improvements

We are seeking a licensed Structural and MEP Engineer (Washington State) to prepare a permit drawing set for a Tenant Improvement (TI) project for our restaurant's Tenant Improvement permitting process. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial projects and a strong understanding of local codes and regulations. Your expertise will ensure that our renovations meet safety standards and enhance functionality. If you have a keen eye for detail and can deliver timely solutions, we want to hear from you! Project Overview: - The scope includes preparing and stamping engineering documents for permit submission. Architectural drawings will be provided by us and are not part of this scope. Required Engineering Services: Mechanical Engineering: - Kitchen hood ventilation - Fire Sprinkler Fire suppression system for commercial hood - HVAC (if needed) - Electrical Engineering: Including circuits for kitchen equipment and fire alarm tie-ins if required - Plumbing Engineering: Including new fixtures and grease trap installation Project Details: - Type: Takeout restaurant - Size: SF 1350 - Key Systems: Grease trap, commercial kitchen hood, fire sprinkler / fire suppression, plumbing, electrical - Architectural scope to be performed from our end Requirements: - Active engineering licenses in Washington State - Experience with TI permits for food service establishments - Familiarity with local building, fire, and health department codes - Ability to coordinate with local permitting agencies as needed Compensation: - Fee to be negotiated - Agreement will be based on a Not-to-Exceed amount
