Book Interior Layout Design for Memoir

We are seeking a skilled design professional to format and lay out the interior of a military memoir from a MS Word documents (1 per chapter). It will be 6X9 and printed in color. The book has a bit more than 50K words, and approx 30 chapters. We are thinking it will be about 250 pages. It will be case-bound. The author has asked us to replicate the layout in another memoir we did for a friend of his. The ideal candidate will have experience using InDesign for book design (including the use of Cascading Style Sheets) and be able to work quickly, ensuring a visually appealing and reader-friendly layout that is consistently applied from chapter to chapter. Attention to detail and the ability to work with both text and images is crucial. The files for the book will be available on Monday, and the layout needs to be competed within 10 business days.
