Project Title: Build a Hidden Camera Glasses Prototype with WiFi, Autofocus & Live Streaming (ESP32-based) ⸻ Project Description: I’m looking for a hardware developer or engineer to build a working prototype of smart glasses with the following features: • A hidden camera integrated into a normal-looking glasses frame • Live video streaming via WiFi, viewable on a mobile app • The camera must be able to clearly capture printed text (e.g., on an exam paper) when I am sitting down and tilting my head downward • The glasses should be fully wearable, lightweight, and discreet — they must look like regular eyeglasses with no obvious camera hole • The device should store video locally (on an SD card or internal memory) and/or support wireless video download • Control through a companion app or web interface is required for real-time video viewing ⸻ Technical Preferences: • Use an ESP32-CAM or similar WiFi-enabled camera module with high image quality • Autofocus is required — camera should be able to automatically focus on text at 30–50cm distance • Prefer using a motorized M12 lens or OV5640 autofocus camera module • Minimum resolution: 720p, preferred 1080p or 5MP • Live video should stream via WiFi and be viewable on a smartphone (AP or STA mode) • Camera can be mounted in the center of the glasses frame or nose bridge; I will tilt my head to aim downward • Must include a rechargeable battery with at least 60 minutes runtime • Wiring and components should be discreetly hidden in the glasses frame • App or interface for live preview is required (can be minimal or open-source) ⸻ Deliverables: • 1 fully working prototype, shipped to me in the U.S. • Full documentation including: • Wiring diagrams / schematics • Source code (ESP32 firmware) • App setup instructions (if applicable) • List of all components used ⸻ Timeline Note: Ideally, I would like to have the prototype completed and delivered within 4 weeks. Please let me know if this timeline works for you or if you need more time based on your approach. Fast-track option: I’m open to increasing the budget if you can deliver the prototype significantly faster (within 1–2 weeks). Please include your expedited delivery timeline and proposed cost in your message. ⸻ Budget: Fixed price preferred, estimated around $500 (Open to negotiation based on speed, quality, and complexity) ⸻ To Apply: Please include: • Your experience with ESP32, autofocus camera modules, or wearable hardware • Estimated timeline for delivery • Any clarifying questions or ideas you’d suggest for this build • Portfolio or examples of similar work (if available)
