Overview We’re a fast-growing U.S. SaaS company in the real-estate space looking for a full-time, long-term video editor who can craft engaging long-form YouTube content, high-impact short-form clips, and polished motion graphics. Individuals only — no agencies. What You’ll Tackle Each Week Long-Form Editing: 10- to 40-minute YouTube videos, webinars, and training modules Short-Form & Social Clips: TikTok/Reels/Shorts cut-downs, teasers, hook reels, GIFs Motion Graphics & Animation: Lower thirds, animated infographics, logo stingers, simple Lottie/JSON assets Ad & Promo Creative: Direct-response video ads, landing-page loops, email GIFs Brand Consistency: Maintain our motion design system, typography, color usage, and graphic templates Must-Have Qualifications U.S.-based individual freelancer (citizen or permanent resident); able to work standard U.S. business hours 3+ years professional video-editing experience (agency or in-house) Portfolio showing both long-form storytelling and short-form social edits Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve) and After Effects Solid grasp of pacing, music selection, sound design, color correction, and basic audio mixing Comfortable taking raw footage + script and delivering publication-ready edits with minimal oversight Clear communicator on Slack/Zoom; fluent written & spoken English Reliable hardware + fast internet for large-file transfers (we use Frame.io/Google Drive) Nice-to-Haves Experience with AI tools (Descript, ElevenLabs, DALL-E, etc.) for speed or B-roll generation Familiarity with real-estate, SaaS, or business-education brands Basic thumbnail design skills (Photoshop/Figma) Working knowledge of OBS or live-stream switching Compensation & Terms Annual equivalent: $55,000 – $85,000 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (flexible start/end within U.S. time zones) Ongoing contract through Upwork with potential for W-2 employment later Paid U.S. holidays + 10 days PTO after 6 months All editing software/licenses provided How to Apply Confirm you are not part of an agency and reside in the U.S. Share one portfolio link or reel that highlights your work.
