Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist (Freelance to Full-Time Potential)


We’re looking for a highly creative and organized Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist to take the reins on growing our presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and possibly TikTok. This freelance role will start part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance and results. What You’ll Do Social Media Management - Own the day-to-day management of our social accounts (IG, FB, LinkedIn, TikTok) - Create and schedule engaging posts, reels, carousels, and stories - Develop and manage a content calendar in collaboration with our executive team - Monitor engagement, respond to comments and DMs, and grow community interaction Strategy & Growth - Share insight-driven strategies to increase engagement, followers, and brand visibility - Suggest creative campaigns, hooks, and trends we should be leveraging - Stay on top of platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes Influencer Marketing - Research, identify, and pitch local Utah/Idaho-based influencers who align with our brand and event style - Manage influencer outreach, communication, and campaign coordination - Track and report on influencer performance and reach Analytics & Reporting - Use platform insights and tools to track what’s working and what’s not - Provide regular reporting on follower growth, engagement rates, and conversions tied to social efforts You Might Be a Fit If You: - Have 2+ years managing social media for brands or events (B2C and B2B) - Know how to make content feel native to the platform and trend-aware - Have experience working with influencers or UGC creators - Are comfortable using tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Hubspot, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc. - Understand how to tie social media efforts to business goals (brand awareness + conversions) - Can write clean, compelling captions with personality and purpose, using input from the executive team. - Thrive working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment Bonus Points If You: - Are based in or familiar with the Utah/Idaho markets - Have event, lifestyle, or experiential brand experience - Graphic design Engagement Details - Start as a freelance contractor through Upwork - U.S.-based candidates only - Potential to move into full-time employment if the fit is right - Work directly with the CEO and Director of Operations How to Apply When applying, please include: - Links to social accounts you’ve managed - A short note about your experience with influencers - Any campaigns or accounts you’ve grown from the ground up - Your availability and time zone
