We are seeking a highly skilled YouTube Editor that can do BOTH short and long form videos to create engaging, fast-paced content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, a strong understanding of short-form storytelling, and a passion for family and lifestyle content. This is a U.S.-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, collaborative environment and is excited to help bring our family-focused brand to life. Responsibilities - Edit short and long form videos that align with our brand’s family and lifestyle aesthetic. - Implement engaging cuts, effects, text overlays, and trending sounds to enhance video appeal. - Stay on top of platform trends and optimize content for maximum engagement. - Collaborate closely with our team to maintain a consistent storytelling style. - Apply color grading, audio mixing, and light motion graphics to elevate content. - Organize and manage video assets efficiently for smooth production workflows. - Be open to feedback and adapt edits based on performance insights. Qualifications - Required to have 3+ years of experience in short-form video editing for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts. - Required to reside in the United States. - Strong portfolio showcasing family/lifestyle-focused content. - Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and mobile-friendly editing tools. - Deep understanding of social media trends, pacing, and audience engagement. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Passion for storytelling through family-oriented, uplifting content.
