We’re building a passionate, high-performing community—and we’re looking for someone to help lead and grow it. We’re hiring a Community Manager to own and manage the entire Gold Medal Squared community across our online platforms. Responsibilities - Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with coaches, athletes, and fans through active, daily engagement across our platforms (including Circle, Instagram, Facebook, and email). - Content Creation: Create and schedule posts, updates, polls, and discussion prompts that educate, inspire, and connect our community. - Moderation & Support: Ensure a respectful, supportive environment by enforcing community guidelines and answering questions in a timely, helpful manner. - Event Promotion & Coordination: Support marketing and coordination for our live events, including coaching clinics and summer camps. Promote these inside our community to drive registrations and excitement. - Feedback Collection: Actively listen and gather insights, questions, and feedback to help improve our products and programming. - Analytics & Reporting: Monitor engagement, growth, and sentiment within the community—and report on key metrics and opportunities. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, customer support, and leadership to ensure consistent messaging, and help launch new initiatives inside the community. Qualifications - Strong Communication Skills: You’re an excellent writer, great listener, and confident connector. - Organized & Proactive: You’re detail-oriented, self-driven, and great at managing projects, calendars, and priorities. - Creative: You know how to create meaningful conversations, design simple visuals, and keep people engaged. - Passionate About Growth: Whether it’s athlete development or community building, you believe in constant improvement. - Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using modern digital platforms like Circle.so, Canva, Notion, and social media tools. - Experience: Prior experience in community management, social media, support, and/or volleyball. Join us in shaping the future of volleyball coaching. If you’re passionate about building relationships, supporting coaches and athletes, and creating powerful online experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
