1. About Us The Tapping Solution is a leading EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) platform with 4 million+ users and 29 million completed sessions. We’re launching a series of 30-Day Protocols that target chronic pain, fibromyalgia, negative-thought spirals, and more. Our goal is to turn these protocols into clinically validated digital therapeutics that win the trust of medical professionals and appear in peer-reviewed journals. 2. Why This Role Exists We need an academically grounded scientist to architect rigorous outcome studies, align each protocol with validated measurement scales, and turn our data into credible, publishable insights—without slowing down product development. 3. Key Responsibilities • Study design & IRB preparation (about 30 % of time) – Map each protocol to validated scales (e.g., FIQR, PSQI), draft protocol synopses, consent language, and IRB submissions. • Data pipeline & dashboarding (≈ 25 %) – Define in-app survey events, oversee secure export to R / Python, and build investigator dashboards. • Pilot execution (≈ 20 %) – Run small single-arm pilots to refine measures, then design RCT or wait-list controls. • Publication & dissemination (≈ 15 %) – Lead manuscript drafting, conference abstracts, and clinician-facing briefs. • Advisory & compliance (≈ 10 %) – Guide marketing claims, FDA SaMD boundaries, and privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA). 4. Ideal Qualifications • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Medicine, Public Health, or a related field. • At least five peer-reviewed publications on digital or mind-body interventions (RCTs or pragmatic trials). • Hands-on experience with R or Python analytics and survey integration (Qualtrics, Typeform, or in-app SDKs). • Familiarity with IRB workflows, HIPAA, and consumer-health data privacy. • Bonus points for prior work in meditation, CBT, or complementary-health apps. 5. Engagement Details • Hours: 10–15 per week to start, scheduling is flexible. • Duration: Three-month pilot contract with option to extend. • Compensation: Please propose your hourly rate or a monthly retainer. • Collaboration: Work directly with the CEO, Product Lead, and Data Engineer via Slack and weekly Zooms. • Deliverables: Study protocols, IRB package, data dictionary, pilot report, manuscript outline. 6.
