**Location:** Remote (Must live in the U.S.) **Contract Type:** Direct Hire **About the Role:** We are looking for a visionary and experienced Director of IT specializing in Salesforce Marketing and eCommerce to lead transformative initiatives. Working for a leading technology company, you will manage critical functions across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C business models, ensuring our technology ecosystem supports strategic goals and growth. This is an opportunity to spearhead advancements in marketing, eCommerce, CRM, and sales technologies, providing leadership across iconic platforms like Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, and WordPress. **Responsibilities:** - Set and execute the strategic vision for marketing, eCommerce, sales, and service technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. - Oversee and optimize Salesforce platforms, including Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud. - Provide technology leadership for marketing and eCommerce efforts across diverse platforms such as HubSpot, Eloqua, Shopify, and WordPress. - Plan and manage IT budgets, including personnel and software. - Lead, mentor, and manage technical teams comprising managers, developers, analysts, architects, and administrators. - Build and maintain collaborative relationships with executive leaders, product managers, and technology teams. - Cultivate team growth by mentoring, offering career opportunities, and managing performance effectively. - Establish and manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations. - Produce accurate reports on project status, team performance, and risk mitigation strategies. **Requirements:** - Must live in the U.S. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. - 8+ years of progressive experience managing technical teams, including all phases of the employee lifecycle. - 5+ years of in-depth Salesforce platform experience. - Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to travel up to 20%. - Comprehensive understanding of eCommerce, CRM, and marketing technologies and industry best practices. - Exceptional organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. **Preferred Skills:** - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator level). - Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Einstein technologies. - Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence. - Familiarity with other marketing and website technologies such as Adobe, Oracle, and Shopify. - Experience integrating technologies during mergers and acquisitions. **Disclaimer:** Consideration for this opportunity will involve some services from AI career agents provided by Job Protocol Labs LTD.
