Title: Web Engineer Needed to Build In-Browser Audio Recording Platform (React + Media APIs) We’re building a modern web app that allows people around the world to record and upload short audio clips directly from their browser. These recordings are used to train AI models — and contributors get paid for submitting high-quality content. We’re looking for a strong frontend web engineer to help us improve our contributor-facing experience. This includes building out our in-browser recording flow, improving file uploads, and refining how contributors track their submissions and earnings. What we’re looking for: Strong React experience (ideally with TypeScript) Experience using browser-based media APIs like MediaRecorder, getUserMedia, and the Web Audio API Ability to build simple, clean UIs that work across desktop and mobile Comfortable working with REST APIs and integrating with backend endpoints Bonus: experience with file uploads, audio validation, or working with media-heavy applications What you'll be working on: A contributor dashboard where users can record short audio clips directly in-browser Upload queue with real-time feedback and error handling Submission tracking UI with payout summaries Occasional UI updates to our internal tools used for audio review Tech stack: React + TypeScript Tailwind (or similar CSS utility frameworks) Supabase / Firebase (for auth and storage) Python backend (FastAPI) Vercel / Cloudflare for deployment Project details: We move quickly and iterate fast — expect short, scoped milestones Ideal candidate is available 20–40 hrs/week for the next 1–2 months, with potential for extension Please include relevant work samples, especially if you’ve worked on recording apps, creator tools, or similar web products
