One time job, 2 Goals 1) For the Create an Account page, I want username and password fields, password criteria all listed upfront as mandatory, and a checkbox to consent to all my policies. 2) I want users to be auto logged in from registration page and successful purchase. My Website Components: Wordpress Woocommerce Responsive theme by CyberChimps MiniOrange Password Policy Plugin SiteGround Security Optimizer Plugin Note: I am not currently using a child theme for my Responsive theme by CyberChimps. I have customized the preset settings for Responsive & WooCommerce, but have no custom code. I want custom code so I don’t need a recurring plugin cost for this. 1. Account Creation– Security & Consent I have the MiniOrange plugin for a password policy. Password criteria are listed, but not made clear that you MUST follow ALL of them. There is a checkbox to confirm use of a weak password which my MiniOrange plugin renders useless and confusing. It gives one unmet criteria at a time after each attempt at making a new password. I also don’t like that Wordpress sends an email to set a password instead of doing it on the page initially. Auto Log In I want users to be auto logged in, both from the Wordpress register for an account page and from Signing up/Signing in during checkout. Currently, after checkout, the user is redirected to a page that says thank you and has order details, but it isn’t even in their customer account’s order history tab. I’d like to ensure users are auto logged in after successful checkout, have a temporary “Thank you for your purchase” loading message, then redirect users to their account page.
