Research Assistant for Senior Director of Research at Consulting Firm


We are seeking a skilled research assistant to support the Senior Director of Research and Strategy at our pharmacy benefits consulting firm. This individual will contribute to market research, product research, business strategy research, client satisfaction research, and custom research for clients. Attention to detail, critical thinking, organization, and written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. Candidates must have research experience, and experience with survey research is preferred. Experience or expertise related to pharmacy, healthcare, and/or pharmacy or medical benefits is not required. This is a fractional position requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week (spread across at least 4 days of the week), with availability for additional hours during research fielding periods. Primary Responsibilities: • Conducts cleanup and optimization of research contact database • Manages market research survey campaigns and response reviews (may also assist with survey development and programming based on skillset) • Uses attention to detail to review data for research reports • Assists with basic data analysis • Develops and executes strategy for reviews of academic and non-academic literature and for organization of various types of information • Contributes critical thinking, writing, and organization skills to support research projects and deliverables • Additional responsibilities to be assigned based on emergent needs and assistant's skills and interests Qualifications • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines • Excellent attention to detail • Strong critical thinking skills • Demonstrated professional research experience in lead or assistant role • Experience with survey research is strongly preferred • Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Prior experience using Airtable for database management and/or Alchemer for survey research is preferred To learn more about our current program of research, see our website: https://www.psgconsults.com/solutions/market-research/
