We are seeking a HIPAA compliance consultant to advise on the development of a secure and scalable file sharing and document access strategy across internal staff and external collaborators. Scope of Work: Recommend best practices for secure document sharing with external organizations (e.g., home care agencies, social service providers) Assess access controls, user permissions, audit logging, and retention policies Identify potential compliance risks under the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules Advise on BAA requirements for third-party platforms and vendors Provide ongoing HIPAA consultation or periodic compliance reviews Ideal Qualifications: Proven experience in HIPAA compliance, particularly in healthcare IT or community-based care settings Expertise with Microsoft 365 security and document management tools Understanding of cross-organizational collaboration in healthcare environments Strong communication skills and the ability to document actionable recommendations
