We’re a fast-growing dietary supplement brand looking for an experienced clinical researcher or regulatory consultant to build claims substantiation dossiers across our new product line. You’ll be responsible for reviewing product formulations and marketing claims (Amazon, TikTok, website) and compiling evidence from peer-reviewed studies and authoritative sources to support each structure/function claim in full alignment with FDA and FTC standards. We’re not looking for surface-level research. You must be able to tie specific doses, extract types, and ingredient forms directly to credible scientific literature. Final deliverables should be legally defensible and optimized for compliance with major marketplaces. Responsibilities: Review Supplement Facts Panels and related marketing language Match structure/function claims to appropriate supporting research Source data from peer-reviewed journals and scientific databases Build a claim-by-claim substantiation dossier for each product Include citations in APA or MLA format, with accessible source links Provide a summary tracker that maps claims to references across the catalog Ideal Candidate Has: 3+ years experience in dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or regulatory research Familiarity with FDA labeling rules (21 CFR 101.93), DSHEA, and FTC ad guidelines Ability to match ingredient form, dose, and standardization to research Excellent writing and scientific citation skills Bonus: Experience supporting brands sold on E Commerce Platforms or Shopify Preferred Research Tools: PubMed Google Scholar Natural Medicines Database (if accessible) ScienceDirect Supplier whitepapers (when available) Examine.com (as a reference, not primary source) Project Scope & Budget: Initial paid test: 1 product dossier Full scope: 20–50+ SKUs (capsules, powders, gummies) To Apply, Please Answer: What is your background in supplement or clinical research?
