Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter & Email Marketing Outreach Manager to manage and execute our monthly email newsletter via the Beehiiv platform. You will focus on crafting compelling copy that resonates with our audience while maximizing engagement and driving app and brand awareness. Our design templates are already established, so the focus will be on creating captivating content and managing email outreach. This is a freelance role and requires collaboration with the Offleash’d marketing team. Key Responsibilities: • Write engaging, concise, and on-brand copy for The Pawspective newsletter, aligned with Offleash’d’s tone and voice. Ensure inviting, clean, engaging design for each email. • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and integrate monthly themes, promotions, or app feature highlights. • Manage the Beehiiv platform to format and schedule newsletter campaigns using existing design templates. • Optimize subject lines, preview text, and email content for open rates, click-throughs, and overall engagement. • Analyze email marketing performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. • Suggest and implement strategies to grow the newsletter subscriber base and increase engagement. • Coordinate with the broader team to ensure newsletters align with Offleash’d’s goals and branding strategy. Send weekly feedback and reporting with suggested strategies backed by metrics. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a copywriter, email marketer, or similar role. • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an emphasis on clarity and engagement. • Familiarity with Beehiiv. • Understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, segmentation, and A/B testing. • Ability to interpret email analytics and refine campaigns based on data-driven insights. • Passion for pets and familiarity with pet-related topics is a strong plus. • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: • Basic knowledge of email design principles (though design expertise is not required). • Experience working with lifestyle brands or apps in a marketing or content role. • Familiarity with audience growth strategies and outreach campaigns. Commitment: This is a monthly freelance project, requiring approximately 10-15 hours per month, depending on the scope of content and outreach initiatives.
