We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to support a potential upcoming penetration testing engagement. This role involves simulating real-world attacks to identify and validate vulnerabilities across web applications, internal systems, and external infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in offensive security, strong technical intuition, and a proven ability to deliver clear, actionable findings. You will play a key role in assessing the security posture of critical systems and helping guide remediation efforts. Responsibilities: -Perform internal and external penetration testing, including network and application layers -Conduct web application security assessments -Document findings and recommend risk-prioritized remediation strategies -Support follow-up validation testing after remediation -Collaborate on report development and potential client-facing presentations Qualifications: -5+ years of cybersecurity experience, specifically in penetration testing or security auditing -Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, GPEN, CISSP, CISA, etc.) -Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks -Excellent analytical and reporting skills -Must be U.S.-based and eligible for background screening This is a project-based 1099 contractor position, contingent on contract award. If selected, you’ll be included in our proposal as a designated team member for an upcoming engagement.
