NetSuite Administrator for Maintenance & Optimization

What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role. - Detail-oriented problem-solver with a proactive mindset. - Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a remote, part-time capacity. - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical needs to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibility - NetSuite System Administration: - Maintain and optimize NetSuite configuration, roles, permissions, workflows, and reporting tools. - Identify and resolve system issues and inefficiencies in partnership with finance and operations teams. - Optimize and implement 3rd party integrations and connectors. - Serve as subject matter expert for NetSuite capabilities and best practices. Key Responsibility - External Consultant Management: - Oversee and coordinate the work of external NetSuite consultants and implementation partners. - Define scopes of work, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with internal priorities. - Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and third-party consultants to ensure effective and efficient execution of NetSuite projects. Process Optimization Initiatives (In Collaboration with Finance Transformation Lead): - Accounts Payable (AP): Support the redesign of the AP process, transitioning from a 5+ year old manual workflow; Assist in system integration, and implementation to automate invoice intake, approval routing, and payment workflows - Credit Card Entry Management: Help design a scalable process for credit card transaction recording, vendor creation, and reconciliation; Recommend and implement automation tools or integrations to reduce manual month-end close workload - Internal Controls: Advise on improvements to payment authorization protocols, reimbursement workflows, and SOPs for PO and invoice approvals. - Finance & Accounting Partnership: Collaborate with the CFO and Financial Controller to identify and drive broader system and process improvements across accounting, reporting, and controls; Provide hands-on support and advisory during month-end close cycles where needed. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience optimizing AP and credit card workflows within NetSuite. - Familiarity with bill capture & automation tools - Experience managing external NetSuite consultants or implementation partners. - Background in financial systems implementation or ERP transformation projects. - Strong understanding of internal controls and finance best practices. - Experience working with early-stage or scaling organizations.
