We are seeking a skilled text editor and proofreader to enhance our US English content for a Software Development solutions brand. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, syntax, and natural flow. You will work on various documents, ensuring clarity and readability while maintaining the original voice and intent of the text. Responsibilities: - Proofread and edit content for grammar, punctuation, and overall readability - Ensure natural phrasing and tone for a native US English audience - Suggest improvements to enhance flow, clarity, and engagement -Maintain consistency in voice and style across documents Requirements: -Native English speaker, based in the United States -Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Bachelor of Arts, or a related field -Proven experience editing professional or marketing content -Strong attention to detail and consistency -Ability to deliver high-quality edits on tight deadlines We’ll start with a small batch of content, with potential for ongoing collaboration if it’s a good fit.
