This individual will handle both the visual design layout for print/digital formats and ensure that all content and imagery meet copyright and publishing standards. Design a clean, engaging, and accessible layout for a ~40-page educational book (print and digital formats) Create or refine the book’s cover (modern photo-based and/or text-based style) Format text, headers, call-out boxes, activity templates, and graphics Ensure readability for both adults and upper elementary readers Deliver files ready for self-publishing (PDF, ePub, Kindle, or print) Copyright Support: Verify image and content use is compliant with copyright and fair use standards Secure permissions or suggest replacements for any third-party content or visuals Provide copyright language and disclaimers for inclusion in the front/back matter
