Hi! I’m looking for an experienced ghostwriter to work with on a new steamy small town romance series. I will provide the tropes and story ideas. The project is for 1 novella of 25k words and 5 full length books (~75k words) of interconnected standalones. Rates start at $.02/word initially, but room for growth and negotiation if you are the perfect fit. I’m looking for someone to build a long term relationship with - there are definitely more projects to come after this one! I work with an editorial team to help with book refinement, so you must be collaborative and open to feedback. You are: - A native English speaking small town romance writer. - A romance nerd like me :) Definitely someone who reads the genre and understands the relevant tropes. - Love plotting and character creation - Someone who only turns in original content Original - no plagiarism, anything shared with a previous client, or AI - Proficient in generating plot summaries and detailed chapter-by-chapter outlines based on provided themes and tropes. - Can deliver at least 10,000 words per week (15k in a perfect world but 10 works too) - Ok with a zoom interview - Open to collaboration/feedback/edits - the book is not done until it’s done :) - Accessible / communicative - Bonus points if you’re familiar with Universal Fantasy!
