We are looking for a video editor to help bring our new YouTube show to life. The show follows three friends—each with wildly different skill levels—taking on game dev challenges with a humorous twist. You'll edit footage for our pilot episode and potentially the full season (8-12 episodes total, released every two weeks). Each episode includes: Clips of each person’s game dev progress (captured from their own perspective) Group discussion segments with reactions, roasts, commentary, and humor A fun, tasteful editing style that enhances engagement without going over the top, preferably no brainrot. This job is perfect for someone who understands internet/video game humor but prefers clean, creative storytelling over noisy meme spam. Required Skills & Experience: Proficiency in YouTube-style video editing Experience syncing multi-source video/audio Ability to handle gameplay and live commentary footage Clean cuts, tasteful transitions, and humorous editing that isn’t overdone Willingness to take creative input and collaborate Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback Nice to Have: Experience editing game dev or challenge-style content Ability to add simple motion graphics or visual effects to highlight key moments Familiarity with editing software like DaVinci Resolve.
