Location: Remote | Type: Contract/Freelance | Start Date: ASAP Who We Are AdSchool™ trains media buyers and agency owners to build specialized, scalable businesses using our One Service Agency™ model — with Facebook ads as the core service. Our YouTube channel will serve as a front-end magnet for our high-ticket training programs and requires a visual storyteller who can simplify complex ideas and make them addictive to watch. Who You Are You’re not just an editor — you’re a content architect. You understand how to visually translate big ideas into simple, sticky moments that hold attention. You’ve studied Alex Hormozi’s editing style (text treatments, punch-ins, dynamic transitions, pacing), but you also know how to build flow — not just cut clips. You can make an hour-long video feel like a 10-minute TED Talk. You also understand short form. You can slice up long-form footage into micro-content that hooks immediately, teaches something fast, and drives curiosity back to the full video or offer. What You’ll Be Doing • Editing long-form YouTube videos (15-45 minutes) • Creating short-form assets (IG Reels, TikToks, YT Shorts) from long-form content • Using b-roll, text callouts, motion graphics, memes, and music to elevate the story • Implementing visual frameworks to make complex ideas simple and scannable • Collaborating with our founder and team to align editing with strategy and pacing • Adapting and evolving our editing style over time as the brand grows Requirements • Proven editing work in the style of Hormozi, Iman Gadzhi, Ryan Pineda, Dan Martell, Greg Hickman, etc. • Strong motion graphics ability (think: kinetic text, visual metaphors, infographics) • Understanding of retention pacing, punch-ins, hooks, and storytelling arcs • Experience editing videos for education, training, or thought leadership content • Mastery of Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut (or similar) + motion graphics tools like After Effects • Bonus: understanding of marketing, funnels, or info products Application Challenge (Read This Carefully) We don’t care if you’re the best editor on Earth — if you miss this, we won’t even open your email. In your proposal, include the word “CLARITY” at the top. Then send: 1. A short paragraph (max 4 sentences) on why this role is a fit 2. 1-2 long-form video examples you’ve edited in this style 3. 2-3 short-form edits (Reels/TikToks/Shorts) 4. Your typical turnaround time for a final 20 minute video. 5. Your rate (hourly, per video, or package) What You’ll Love About This • You’ll work with content that’s actually fun to edit (smart, punchy, high-impact) • We know what we want — no 47 rounds of edits • Room to grow — if we love you, we’ll scale up big time • Consistent weekly workflow once you’re onboarded Next Steps Lock in the inbox filter (CLARITY), submit your best work, and we’ll reach out for a test project if we like your vibe.
