We are looking for a highly creative, organized, and strategic marketing partner (freelancer or boutique firm) to support our in-house team on a part-time basis. We’re a fun, high-energy local restaurant group with deep community ties and a strong brand identity. You’ll help bring that brand to life across digital and in-store channels, using our completed strategy and brand guidelines as a foundation. We’re seeking a versatile marketer who can execute across multiple fronts — from paid social to in-store promos, from SEO to SMS campaigns. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, collaborative role with regular creative meetings and campaign analysis. Scope of Work: 1. Monthly Ad Campaign Execution (3x per month): Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Nextdoor ads Custom graphics using our brand guidelines Option to incorporate content we provide + original branded art Strong CTAs and geo-targeting focus 2. Google Ad Management: Campaign creation and optimization Keyword research and reporting Focused on local awareness and specials 3. Text Message Marketing Support: Write compelling SMS campaign copy Coordinate sending schedule aligned with promotions and peak hours Suggest creative ways to drive conversions 4. In-Store Marketing Graphics: Posters, table tents, counter signage, menu inserts Match campaign themes with in-store visuals 5. Promotional and PR Support: Occasional community-based PR content and distribution Local partnerships and news story pitches 6. Marketing Calendar Creation (Quarterly): Build a 3-month comprehensive marketing calendar Includes channels (Social, Ads, SMS, In-store, PR, Email), timelines, themes, and messaging Includes ops action items like “add button to Toast,” “train staff on promo,” etc. Format should be easy to follow and actionable 7. Analytics + Creative Sync Meetings (Biweekly): Meet with our team to review performance and brainstorm upcoming promos Propose new campaign ideas based on trends and data 8. SEO Expertise: Local SEO optimization Google Business management Keyword-driven blog or page suggestions Ideal Candidate: Proven experience with restaurants or local brick-and-mortar businesses Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, etc.) Deep knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, Nextdoor, SMS platforms Highly organized and able to meet deadlines Can think strategically and execute tactically Strong communicator who’s collaborative but proactive Creative eye for promotions and brand voice Commitment & Budget: Ongoing monthly engagement ~20 hours/month to start Budget flexible based on experience and value To Apply: Please share your portfolio (especially ad and in-store campaign work), a few examples of restaurant or retail marketing calendars or campaign plans you’ve built, and your hourly or retainer rate.
