Hi there, We’re looking for an Android developer to help us bring GridSync to life — a smartwatch-connected football play-calling app built for use on the field. The goal is to allow coaches to select or draw a play on a tablet and send each player their specific assignment on a smartwatch. This version will focus on building the Coach App (v1) for an Android tablet (Galaxy Tab A9+). We’ve outlined all major features and can provide a structured handoff package including: • Play preview screen (Madden-style diagram) • Draw-your-own play tool • Role tagging system (WR1, QB, RB, etc.) • Play clock widget • “Send Play” simulation logic We’re looking for someone who can: • Work with Android Studio using Java or Kotlin • Build a clean, responsive UI for tablets (landscape layout) • Deliver a signed APK, tested and installable on Android 14 • Communicate clearly and meet milestone goals We have more exciting features coming (smartwatch support, GridSmart AI, and VOICE), so there is opportunity for long-term work if the collaboration is strong.
