Google My Business Pro - Needed for Small Business


Description: We’re looking for a knowledgeable and tactical Google My Business (GMB) expert to help us make sense of our current listings and guide us through some cleanup and consolidation efforts. Over the years, we've acquired multiple GMB listings through different business initiatives. While these have helped local SEO, they're now causing brand confusion, overlapping service areas, and possible ranking dilution. We’re seeking someone who can evaluate our current GMB footprint and provide strategic recommendations. We’re open to setting up an hourly consulting contract to walk through our situation and receive clear, actionable guidance. We need expert advice on: Listing Consolidation – Can (and should) we consolidate certain GMBs without losing authority or traffic? Address Visibility – If we remove physical addresses from some listings (e.g., service-based businesses), how much does this impact local rankings—and is there a way to offset any losses? Service Area Overlap – For service-area GMBs that share the same region, is it better to focus on 1–2 core cities, or maintain broader targeting? Ideal Candidate: Deep knowledge of GMB best practices and Google Maps visibility strategies Experience managing multiple listings across franchises or multi-location businesses Ability to audit and recommend clear action steps Up-to-date on 2025 GMB/GBP changes Please include relevant examples of GMB cleanup or optimization work you've done.
