We are seeking an experienced Amazon Marketplace Consultant for a short-term contract to help optimize our existing product listings, increase sales, and transition our inventory from Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) to Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA). This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a proven track record in Amazon sales strategy, FBA setup, and listing optimization. Responsibilities: Audit current FBM listings and sales performance Recommend and implement improvements to titles, descriptions, images, keywords, and backend SEO Identify high-performing ASINs suitable for FBA transition Guide and assist in setting up FBA shipments, inventory planning, and labeling requirements Recommend pricing strategies, promotions, and other sales levers (Coupons, Prime-exclusive discounts, etc.) Ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies for FBA Provide guidance on tools and reports (e.g., Brand Analytics, Inventory Dashboard, etc.) Train internal staff or document SOPs for FBA workflows as needed Requirements: Proven experience managing and optimizing Amazon Seller Central accounts Successful FBA transition experience (from FBM to FBA) Strong understanding of Amazon’s A9 algorithm and listing best practices Familiarity with third-party tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Ability to work independently and deliver actionable insights Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industrial and hobby products or industry Past Upwork reviews or portfolio demonstrating similar work Amazon PPC campaign experience a plus Contract Details: Type: Hourly or fixed-price (negotiable based on experience and project scope) Timeline: Immediate start; expected duration 4–8 weeks with potential for extension Location: Remote Communication: Slack or email + weekly check-ins via Zoom/Meet/etc To Apply: Please share: A brief summary of your Amazon experience Specific examples of FBA transitions or listing improvements Tools you commonly use Your availability over the next 4–8 weeks Let’s work together to take our Amazon sales to the next level.
